Who We Are
Jim Kelly
Elder
Elder Jim has a passion for ministry and for teaching God's Word. He and Lynn have been married since 1982, and they have three children and sixteen grandchildren. Jim served our country overseas in the military, and afterwards spent his career in the King County and the Pierce County Sheriff's Departments. He has a degree in Christian Ministry from Puget Sound Christian College and graduated from the Washington Chaplains Academy, and he and his wife have spent two years traveling with World Vision as Child Ambassadors. Elder Jim is also excited to lead the men's ministry here at Grace Bible Church, so make sure you don't miss the motorcycle trips, Man Day, paintball, and more events he will be heading up this year!
Grant Stewart
Elder
Elder Grant has been married to his high school sweetheart, Joyce, for 55 years. He has been an Elder since 2024, enjoys serving on the worship team and serving the Lord. His career was in Law enforcement and retired from the King County Sheriff’s Office in Washington State. He and his wife raised 5 children, have 9 grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Make sure to ask him about his awesome guitar collection!
Don Gillbert
Elder
Since Elder Don "Roscoe" became an elder in 2022, he has been leading our building and finance team. He is married to Sue, and he loves telling jokes!
Hailey Knox
Secretary
Hailey has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jesse, since 1997. Together they have raised 4 amazing children and have watched their family grow to welcome a handful of grandchildren over the years. Hailey and Jesse were born and raised here in Idaho and the Lord brought them to Kamiah in 2017. When the Lord provided the opportunity to begin to serve in a larger capacity in our church, Hailey never could have known how answering His call would become a larger blessing than she has room here to express! She loves to take time to visit, answer questions, get to know anyone, she and welcomes your calls and emails any time. Hailey looks forward to meeting you in person and giving you a heartfelt GBC welcome!
Lisa Summers
Children's Ministry Director
Lisa Summers has been married to her husband Dave for 24 years, and together they raised 3 adult children and fostered for several years. They have 6 grandchildren and are currently raising their son, Anthony, who is 13. She comes to us with an array of various experiences in children’s ministry from her lifetime. She’s owned and ran her own daycare and preschool, was an AWANA Leader for 10 yrs, taught Sunday school, and has done LOTS of training in teaching children, mentoring and discipleship. Lisa is having a blast leading the children’s ministries, or the “Kingdom Builder’s” here at Grace Bible Church, where each child is learning how precious they are; designed and intricately woven with purpose by a loving & incredible Creator.
Jack Stevens
Associate Pastor
Pastor Jack is thrilled to be living out his dream job here at Grace. He leads the youth group, where middle-high schoolers learn how to walk with Jesus in community, and in a year he takes the youth on four camping trips, two all-night youth lock-ins, ski trips, river float trips, as well as group events three times a week, numerous outreach events and weekly pizza lunch with students. He also heads up the worship team, and leading the congregation in worshiping the Lord by singing and playing guitar is one of his greatest joys in life. Jack holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Idaho, and is currently attending the GES Seminary online to earn a Master of Divinity degree.
Geoff Stevens
Lead Pastor
Pastor Geoff holds a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree in physics. With over two decades in ministry and experience as a professor at both graduate and undergraduate levels, he is passionate about teaching God's Word and shepherding the flock of God. Geoff's better half, Isabel, is a school psychologist, and together they cherish their lively brood of children who constantly keep them on their toes. Beyond his pastoral duties, Geoff is an avid fly fisherman, where he enjoys God's great beauty in nature. Pastor Geoff lives his life in pursuit of the Lord and with the goal to hear "Well done good and faithful servant" from the Lord Jesus, who loved him and gave Himself for him on the cross.
