Who We Are
Jim Kelly
Elder
Elder Jim has a passion for ministry and for teaching God's Word. He and Lynn have been married since 1982, and they have three children and sixteen grandchildren. Jim served our country overseas in the military, and afterwards spent his career in the King County and the Pierce County Sheriff's Departments. He has a degree in Christian Ministry from Puget Sound Christian College and graduated from the Washington Chaplains Academy, and he and his wife have spent two years traveling with World Vision as Child Ambassadors. Elder Jim is also excited to lead the men's ministry here at Grace Bible Church, so make sure you don't miss the motorcycle trips, Man Day, paintball, and more events he will be heading up this year!
Jack Stevens
Associate Pastor
Pastor Jack is thrilled to be living out his dream job here at Grace. He leads the youth group, where middle-high schoolers learn how to walk with Jesus in community, and in a year he takes the youth on four camping trips, two all-night youth lock-ins, ski trips, river float trips, as well as weekly meetings. He also heads up the worship team, and leading the congregation in worshiping the Lord by singing and playing guitar is one of his greatest joys in life. Jack holds an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Idaho, and is currently attending the Grace Evangelical Society Seminary to earn a Master of Divinity degree.
Geoff Stevens
Lead Pastor
Pastor Geoff holds a Th.M. from Dallas Theological Seminary and an undergraduate degree in physics. With over two decades in ministry and experience as a professor at both graduate and undergraduate levels, he is passionate about teaching God's Word and shepherding the flock of God. He currently is a professor for the Grace Evangelical Society Seminary, and is the author of several books for the Grace Old Testament Commentary. Geoff's better half, Isabel, is a School Psychologist, and together they cherish their lively brood of children who keep them on their toes. Beyond his pastoral duties, Geoff is an avid fly fisherman, where he enjoys God's great beauty in nature. Pastor Geoff lives his life in pursuit of the Lord and with the goal to hear "Well done good and faithful servant" from the Lord Jesus, who loved him and gave Himself for him on the cross.
